Beer Expert Garrett Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery

Editor-in-chief of “The Oxford Companion to Beer” to lead beer tasting and dinner

DALLAS, Aug. 19, 2013 – LARK on the Park will host world-renowned Brooklyn Brewery brewmaster Garrett Oliver for a specially curated beer experience Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at its location at 2015 Woodall Rodgers Freeway across from Klyde Warren Park.

Oliver is brewmaster at Brooklyn Brewery, editor-in-chief of “The Oxford Companion to Beer” and author of “The Brewmaster’s Table.” He is considered one of the foremost authorities on beer in the world. The evening will feature an expert-guided  beer tasting experience led by Oliver, coupled with food pairings from LARK chefs Dennis Kelley and Melody Bishop.

“Garret Oliver is one of the most influential beer authorities we’ve encountered, and we’re honored to host him at LARK for this incredible experience,” said Keith Schlabs, co-owner of LARK. “When it comes to knowledge and simple passion for craft beer, Garrett is second to none. The event will kick off with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a seated dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are $80 per person, including tax and gratuity, and can be purchased in person at LARK or by calling 214-855-5275. Seating is limited, and the event is expected to sell out quickly.
