Greetings

Dallas has few diversions other than eating, drinking and shopping.....and shopping does not interest us.
So we spend our time hopping from restaurant to restaurant and to every pub that we can find in search of the perfect meal and the perfect beer.

We randomly review restaurants and bars, dishes and beers at whim and give our brutally honest opinions of our findings. And while we concentrate on Dallas, we travel far and wide to sample cuisine from all regions of the country and beyond.

Kaftaesque Beer from Martin House Brewing

Kafkaesque

Are You Ready?

We wanted to know: can we craft a beer to be senseless, disorienting, menacingly complex and surreally distorted? The answer is yes – and the embodiment is our newest seasonal launching next week. Event details here.

This is the most ambitious and confounding beer Martin House has ever crafted. A high-ABV, Imperial, Smoked, Black, Rye, Oaked, Raspberry IPA that will leave you cowering under the table or cackling at the moon like a madman.  Well, probably not, but it’s quite an experience.

We’ll be doing a surreal keep-the-glass for the first victims, err.. customers. You’ve probably never partaken from a glass like this one – it would make Dali proud. (Picture Below)

Kafkaesque: come and imbibe with at The Pour House Fort Worth on January 15th, starting at 5:30 PM. If you dare.
