Dallas has few diversions other than eating, drinking and shopping.....and shopping does not interest us.
So we spend our time hopping from restaurant to restaurant and to every pub that we can find in search of the perfect meal and the perfect beer.

We randomly review restaurants and bars, dishes and beers at whim and give our brutally honest opinions of our findings. And while we concentrate on Dallas, we travel far and wide to sample cuisine from all regions of the country and beyond.

Flying Saucer at the Lake's Firestone Walker/Smores event


Do you like Firestone Walker beers? Stupid question, of course you do. What's better than a flight of Firestone Walker brews? A flight of Firestone Walker brews paired with s'mores, that's what! Flying Saucer on The Lake is hosting an "Adult S'mores" event Saturday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m.

Firestone Walker Parabola paired with an Oreo salted chocolate caramel s'more
Firestone Walker Merkin paired with a traditional s'more
