Greetings

Dallas has few diversions other than eating, drinking and shopping.....and shopping does not interest us.
So we spend our time hopping from restaurant to restaurant and to every pub that we can find in search of the perfect meal and the perfect beer.

We randomly review restaurants and bars, dishes and beers at whim and give our brutally honest opinions of our findings. And while we concentrate on Dallas, we travel far and wide to sample cuisine from all regions of the country and beyond.

Martin House Brewing Turtle Power!

Turtle Tour 2K15: Drinking Beer. Saving Turtles. Being Awesome.

Turtle Power is a good beer, but it’s also a beer that does good.  Drink beer and save turtles at any of the upcoming events in October.

The Beer: the strong malt body and intense hop presence of this altbier combines swimmingly well with the flavor of blackberries for an excellent autumn treat.
The Good: proceeds from the sale of this beer support The Turtle Survival Alliance (TSA) who are based right here at the Fort Worth Zoo.
The Events: Glass and swag giveaways along with live turtles! Representatives from the TSA will be there to “talk turtle” and answer any questions you might have. More information on each event below is available on our website.

First event is tomorrow (Thursday) at our tour and we'll be issuing commemorative Turtle Power glassware!
